    Just saw your photo of the eggs. Assuming they have been incubated for a little while outside 3 eggs look non viable. Inside two look fertile. Need more jnfo?

    Thanks Tigger, they are part of a post asking if the two were any good. The other three (actually four in the full sized photo) eggs had drowned before I found them. The vertically marked one was recovered from the bank of my pond and the others from the water, the horizontally marked one being the first found, but I was not sure it it was good either. There is a bigger distinction in them now.

    Sorry for the late reply mate. If in doubt incubate them anyway. Are they longicollis eggs? Up to 120 days if yhey are but normally less than that.

    No problem, Craig was quick off the mark in answering the post that they go with. And yes they are ELN eggs. I still have them all under incubation, even the ones I doubt are any good. The two together were the last found and they have not changed in appearance.
