Large female Saw-shelled turtle
That is a REALLY impressive tank! Well done!
Is it just me or does that painting make you want to go out and buy a kinder surprise?
Glad you like it Dean, but this one is already spoken for. This was my first attempt at painting a turtle, I am working on another one and hoping to finish it this week end will post it when its done.
are you going to sell it? how much would you ask? Do you have anywhere that we can see other paintings of yours?
This inlet has now been changed to one that goes the length of the box with about 4 or 5 outlets. Much more efficient
Your baby long-neck has stomatitis (mouth rot). It will need antibiotics and to be thoroughly cleaned/debrided. This may even need to be done under sedation by a Vet.
It incredible. Well done Megan.
Thanks everyone, I have to admit to being pleased at how he turned out. (Not something that happens often with my art.)
I'm glad it looks familiar Gabrielle, Craig originally suggest that Ian paint the endangered Broad-shelled turtle, but going through his photos looking for one, I came across this little guy and he was just to cute not to try and paint. Still happy to give a Broad Shell a go if any one has some good Photos, have to admit that I wouldn't know what one looked like.
Wow, that's really beautiful.......and somehow looks very familiar.....
You are very talented, please pursue your artistic aspirations.....you will go places!
That is INCREDIBLE!!! Wow, you are SO talented! that should be the logo!!! Very clever!
its lovely megan

Oh really....well that is a tad bit exciting, thanks Ian.
Ziggy is hitching a ride
What an interesting turtle! Love its head
very cool set up... I like!
Eza, I just found this so sorry about late reply. I use a gravel filter ( they are a long piece of hose you attach to your inlet and use like a vacuum). I find it easier to clean with this type of rocks than gravel.
can i ask why you have the pipe in there? do they like to hide?
If I were a turtle I'd definintely love to live here!
Very nice set-up reptile 1
One heat, one UV and the other was a Night lamp from when one of my turtles was sick and sleeping on the dock at night during winter.
That is one "cute" (dictionary meaning - ugly but interesting) animal you have there. Where does this species originate from or live ?
awesome photo thanks for sharing

Thats crazy hey
I love the look of your tank! Just a quick question, how do you clean it? Do you take out the rocks?
