Thats crazy hey
I love the look of your tank! Just a quick question, how do you clean it? Do you take out the rocks?
What the heck is that? Its wicked looking. What species is it ?
Hi just thought i would put a few pictures of my pond
They look huge... I cant wait for my babies to grow up... Do you have a tank for them both?
Beautiful turtle. It's really amazing
A good friend just emailed me this photo of a Northern Yellow-faced Turtle ; ..(looks like a large, aged specimen) from near Mareeba in Far North Queensland.
..Thought I'd share it with you.
Sorry mate - Just saw your msg! So for a belated response the big one in the middle is a Sword plant and the rest were pongol which I have since replaced with Val. And the ELNs don't really eat any of them - I've seen them have a go at the Val but it seems to be more when a piece is moving in the current and attracts their attention rather then because they want to eat it!
Why so many lamps on the dock?
Photo of the Week
Zeus got photo of the week!! Cheers Kaz!
that is really cute!
Awesome pic Repz!!
My turtles have a small amount of this. It comes and goes, but doesn't seem to bother them.
Looks great. What are the plants you're using in there?? Does your turtle eat them? Mine seems to eat EVERYTHING!
Nice one Repz.
Thanks Gomez - I got them from flower power, they were cheap (about $15-$20 the lot), they are called lucky stones. They were quite chalky so i washed them off then boiled them for 5 minutes each (then let them cool b4 putting in tank) to stelilize any nasties. just watch placement to, make sure they are sturdy if stacked so no squashed turtles!
I love this! I am going to change my rocks to larger ones like these for sure!
Hi Lana, nice pic.
It's a Broad-shelled turtle.
Just came across this pic - your tank looks great!!! Love the river scene! You've got some lucky turtles!!!
I will do more pics. These turtles are from a pet shop from Paris.

very nice looking Eastern snake-necked turtles.
Thanks Kaz, I'm in the middle of preparing my 5 foot tank which housed turtles 5-6 years ago, Kreffts, Sawshells and a Snapping turtle all purchased off Craig and Gab whilst they were living in Sydney.

Hey, the expansa looks in awesome condition. Not like Adam's which is all "crinkled and passed" (Quote by Brian)
Yes shes our girl - loves the posing - always acknowledges us when we get close to her tank! Its almost like shes "kissing" us through the glass when our faces are right up near her tank haha

Can you post some images of the head and underneath? Can you give some history on the turtle?
I agree, to me it is rugosa. It is not speckled like Burranganji (?spelling)
