    Hi all,
we have a scheduled power outage of 8 hours coming up.
    My whole house is electric.
Ambient temperature is around 12-14degrees down here in Vic.
I will be using a computer UPS to maintain some water circulation and filtration (should last for 8hours)

Any Ideas how to keep the water warm during this time?
I am thinking preheat the room, heating a smaller tank to a "higher temp" and doing a live stock transfer after few hours if my main tank temperature drops......short of a power generator any further ideas?

Don't even worry about it. The temperature drop will be slow and gradual. When the power comes back on, your tank will warm again in no time.
